Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We had a great experience. The location of the lodge is serene. Waking up to the sounds of Williams river and nature is exactly what we needed.
To top it off, host Philipa was amazing. Not only has she built a good lodge, her customer service skills are amazing. Talking to the guests, organising stuff for the guests, helping them as a guide by going through the maps.
We were also greeted by a very cute Four legged friend Abbabubba.
All in all, a 9 on 10 for our entire experience
The perfect getaway in a place of tranquility. The staff were wonderful and offered plenty of helpful advice on places to see and things to do. The lodges are well equipped and the kitchenette has all the essential appliances/ cookware required to prepare meals. Beautifully crafted building, strong European design influence. Suits the location.
