Beautiful lodge on super nice property. We really loved the view from our lodge terrace into the forrest. You are in the middle of nature but still have all the luxuries with a hot shower, new aircon and a small but well equipped kitchen. Everything was perfectly clean as well.
We were in Cooktown for only one night so we did not have time to enjoy the facilities but will book the lodge again next time. the outlook was great and was so quiet, the host was bubble and enthusiastic. She informed us on were to eat and go in Cooktown. even rang some one to get information on a destination we were going to.
Gorgeous property with lovely lodges. Everything was perfect and they were so friendly and helpful. Great value. Amazing pillows and bed! Kitchenette really useful and pool, whilst tiny, was in a lovely garden, so relaxing!
Lovely private and well appointed cottage. Very comfortable king bed, great shower, and spotlessly clean. The private deck overlooks the rainforest with its interesting wildlife visitors. The pool area is nice for a cool off. A car is handy but they also do car rentals here. We made use of the RSL courtesy bus to go out. Loved Cooktown and Milkwood Lodge.
Beautiful wooden lodges with comfortable living spaces and everything you need. Loved the lush green gardens and the sound of the birds while sitting on the veranda. We also made use of the BBQ area near the pool. You need a car to get into town but it's only a few minutes' drive away.
