Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

The lodge was a good size, plenty of space. The shower was nice and hot, the heater in there was a nice touch. The site itself is nice, the bar and bistro were good. The location is amazing, so close to the best bits of Freycinet. The staff recommended sunrise at Cape Tourville Lighthouse, which was beautiful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious. The EV charger, though a little slow, was a great asset. Our room was very comfortable and the walkway to the cabin was well maintained. Great to have the Pennicott tour pick us up from the Lodge Jetty. The extra tea bags supplied during our stay were a nice surprise.

The setting of the Lodge is superb with views over the water. It is a short drive to the start of the Freycinet walking trails and there are other walks close by.

Pretty much everything. Love the location. Love the house. Love the silence. Love the amenities. Could stare at those Hazards for days. Close proximity to hiking. A hop, skip and jump to fish and chips. Better view than Freycinet lodge. Would stay here again for sure.

Location is phenomenal. Freycinet Lodge has access to Honeymoon Bay which you can go early in the morning free from crowd and 5 minute drive to Wineglass Bay. The restaurant view is breathtaking. We asked for water refill at no cost. The free breakfast is to die for! We also booked for dinner and everything is delicious from entree, mains, dessert and cocktails!

The lodge had a great location at the beginning of the national park, with e rooms and facilities. Our premium suite had a very nice balcony overlooking the beach. The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were exceptional. No buffet, personalized orders. The views from all of the public spaces were stunning and the grounds very beautiful. Staff were terrific, both at the front desk and in the dining room. A great experience overall.
