We stayed in the big bungalow and what an absolute gem of a find! There is everything you need and more in the kitchen. The house is kitted out and decorated beautifully. A lovely front veranda to sit out - or sit in the lush garden around the side/back. Would definitely recommend and return.
Safari Lodge (previously known as Jungle Lodge) is located in the remote rainforest region of Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland.

King room was awesome but was not expecting the double-room's lack of facilities (no aircon/toilet/shower)... This is a superb spot for camping/glamping and exploring the rain forest (and reef, if you can afford it) however it wasn't really the best place for a one-night stopover
Surrounded by rainforest jungle in the Daintree National Park, Deep Forest Lodge offers secluded apartments with private bathroom, basic cooking facilities and a barbecue on each verandah.

Amazing location and a very friendly host.
You are immersed in the rainforest; We spotted cassowary and his chick in the early morning. They are frequent visitors there as there are quite some plumtrees in the garden.
The room is very clean and no bugs inside :)

We stayed in Greg’s property for 1 night in Oct., 2024. Greg was a very nice and welcoming host, and the lodge was clean. The breakfast was also great! Some of the facilities (e.g. the fridge in our lodge) isn’t fully working due to cyclone Jasper’s damage. However, it was totally understandable as the entire area hasn’t fully recovered from the damage yet, and Greg did his best to make things as comfortable as possible. The free WiFi in room was working and was in reasonable speed. We highly recommend staying in Greg’s property when visiting Daintree / Diwan area!

Beautiful setting in the rainforest with walks available and in a good location central to most places in the Daintree. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. No wifi but Optus had signal. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Overall a good place.

I enjoyed my stay at Daintree Riverview Lodges, the location suited me and the staff were friendly and gave me some tips on local walks, which was appreciated.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
In every respect this was an exceptional stay. As a lodge built deep in the Daintree Rainforest by owner, Matt, it is an impressive achievement. The fresh fruit platters at breakfast were delicious. Enjoying the company and conversation of travellers from all over the world both at breakfast and over wine in the evening was a highlight.
Our stay at Safari Lodge was perfect. We loved waking up in the forest to the sound of birds and other wildlife. The bed was super comfortable, and the cabin was beautifully designed.
The location was fantastic in the middle of the Daintree. Our room was very basic but the bed was comfortable. We stayed three nights and had dinner there twice and breakfast once, we enjoyed all of our meals. Julie, on the front desk, was excellent and went above and beyond to sort out tours for us. We enjoyed all of them - Ziplining, Jungle Night tour, Ocean Safari to the Great Barrier Reef and the Cooper Creek boat tour where we saw some crocodiles.
The lodges at Mist are great! A great size for a couple, very neat and modern. The location is amazing, quite close to the Turtle Rock Cafe and some nice boardwalks. You're really nestled into the rainforest which is lovely. There are lots of cool palms and trees on the property as well. Lilian was super helpful and welcoming. It was lovely to cook a nice bbq on the verandah each night, and the beds are really comfy. Highly recommend as a nice place to stay when visiting the Daintree.
In great location with friendly staff, we had three lodges for our group, two were a little tired, hot water was variable and not much sound proofing between rooms. That said it's good value for money, was a great place to stay and I would stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Safari Lodge. Firstly the location in Cape Tribulation is awesome. The bedroom and bathroom were both clean and well fitted out. The staff were really helpful and the cafe had a good breakfast in the morning.
I loved staying in the rainforest at Safari Lodge. Such beautiful surroundings in a remote location made this trip to Cape Trib really stand out. The room was excellent - great shower and plenty of space for a small cabin. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the peaceful atmosphere.
