Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Facilities are good with easy access to the Club dinning room facilities. The Lodge is tucked away from the Main Street and on the older building but the staff was wonderful and very helpful.

The location was ideal, being a short drive away from Bowral. The lodgings were superb. Clean, functional and comfortable. Having the dinner venue literally a 1 minute walk away was a bonus. Th food there was superb. Wonderful country outlook. Would thoroughly recommend.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The room had an area with a table and chairs and there was a lounge too. The double doors opened onto a grassed area but it was too cold to take advantage of that. We had dinner at the pub next door but you needed to make a booking beforehand. There was a good breakfast with a lot of choices available at the Lodge which we used.

We visit Bowral regularly 2-4 times a year and try and always choose Briars Lodge as 1st choice of rooms are available. We have been visiting for over 5years now. The new furniture was very good as were the heaters and the overall decor was very new.

ALMOST NOTHING! Breakfast at the Lodge was OK, BUT, the meals at the adjoining restaurant were fantastic, wine was reasonably priced and the food was very good!

The position of the lodge, was a very peaceful garden setting. Although an older property, we had the family room with a view over the garden and pool, also had a balcony. The room was spacious and very clean. We have booked to stay again.

Golfview Lodge is an older traditional style motel. It was a few k's from town centre, but exceptionally clean, quiet and our room (#4) had nice views. The room was well equipped and the bed was one of the best I have encountered. Parking was allocated by room number. Check in and out was fast and efficient.

Very polite and friendly operators of the Lodge. Our accommodation was older but very clean. Had plenty soaps, shampoo, tissues. Electric blanket for colder weather. Coffee, tea, biscuit pack supplied. A small electric hotplate that could be plugged in to do some basic cooking. Plates and bowls provided. The operators assisted us with a spare mobile phone charger when we had issues with our own.

Briars Inn is just in front of the Lodge and is a lovely country style put with a great menu and plenty of space to accommodate all types of events. We dined in the Bong Bong room with an open fire and cosy furnishings.
