Everything! The location was private and peaceful but still close to town, the cabin was so cosy and homely, on our late arrival Deb had started the fire so it was beautiful and warm when we got in! The communication lines were always open with the hosts Deb and Paul and the views of the lake are just awesome. Quaffers is just beautiful. They take pride there at Quaffers and it shows. Would not hesitate to recommend Quaffers to anyone passing through.

The cottage was very quaint and had everything we could need. The kids loved the choice of board games and the breakfast basket was very generous with lovely local produced goodies.

The cabin is the perfect combination of complete luxury and earthiness. It is so generously appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, lounge, bathroom and a king sized super comfy bed. The outdoor fire pit and bath are gorgeous in the evenings. The property had many beautiful walking trails.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Fabulous hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Shelley and Doug. Excellent breakfast menu and nice place to also taste a few local wines. Girraween lodge is only a short drive off the highway well worth the visit.
Tranquil setting, canoe on the lake, soft towels, great toiletries (even shower caps), milk and ice in the fridge, equipped kitchen and electric blanket.
Let me save others some time. The matches to light the fire are at the bottom of the tinder wood basket... under all the wood!
If the sound of the fridge in the smaller Cypress studio lodge annoys you, switch it off.
The Lodge is in an amazing location, very scenic views from the hilltop behind an extraordinary landscape.
accommodation was exceptional, we were the only guests staying on the night we were there.
