We liked everything about our stay. Angaston Lodge and hosts, Tony and Grant, are synonymous with excellence right down to the finest details. One of the best experiences we have had while travelling abroad.
Angaston Lodge is in a wonderful location with exceptional facilities. Everything was provided for a most comfortable stay, from the breakfast provisions, linen, pool and kitchen facilities. Grant and Tony are wonderful hosts and gave us some great advice on places to visit during our stay in the Barossa.
Angaston Lodge is the best option for Barossa if you prefer a quiet location in walking distance of a nice town with friendly people. Grant gave us a good insight view of interesting places and we discovered some more (Krondorf, Steingarten....). The lodge is just great, in German we would call it "über-drüber"! Not to forget the pool! And the architecture! And.....
Staying in a Masonic lodge was an experience! The pool table and DJ machine made for a memorable evening with friends, particularly with the fire blazing as it was freezing. And I loved the old piano.
The warm and knowledgable hosts of Angaston lodge thought of everything - abundant breakfast supplies, comfy bed and Cosy fire.
And the location was perfect overlooking the valley and within minutes of Angaston village.
Absolutely everything! Angaston Lodge is superb, it's beautiful, spacious with everything you could possibly need. So many thoughtful extras too.
Grant and Tony are wonderful hosts and we look forward to returning 😊

A beautiful Red Wine from the area was also left for us to enjoy (With good size Glasses)
Hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and recommended some superb restaurants etc
Loved our stay at Angaston Lodge and thank Grant and Tony for their hospitality.
