Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Lodge studio- the worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed in during all our travels. I am not talking about the size. There is very unhealthy stay. No ventilation. Sorry there is a fan in the bathroom but so filthy that the dust spreads over the unit. And the room has a small window. But fresh air doesn’t circulate. The room is not so clean. If you have an asthma, sensitive to odours, allergic , like fresh air and cleanliness this unit definitely is not for you.

I have traveled more than 30+countries and stayed thousands hotels/airbnb/hostels/lodges, Airlie Guest House is the best place I have stayed so far. Unfortunately I have only stayed here for 3 nights due to this fantastic house has been fully booked therefore I can’t expand my staying. 10 is the maximum score of Booking.com, but it is not the maximum score for Airlie Guest House should be gained. I would like to recommend this place to everyone, also I will promote it in China via social media.

There were so many extra's to make our stay perfect. Welcome package in the fridge, all the items needed to stay in a eco lodge, eg mossie coils. Great cooking facilities, pots and pans.

Reception staff! You guys are great, full of smiles and always easily approachable and super helpful. Jessika and the fellow from Gold Coast that booked the croc safari for us - you were especially amazing! Also Wifi is really strong which is a plus in northern Queensland. TV in the room with YouTube, Netflix and Stan. Very convenient when holidaying with kids (it was just me and my son). Not a bad location. Further away from the central bit but it’s a nice stroll or a 5 minutes bus trip. Oh and newly renovated rooms look promising.

amazing location right on the Main Street. friendly staff. has its own bar. was very jungle looking which was pretty cool. the rooms were all private double rooms in a lodge type building. only 2 toilets and 2 showers per 8 rooms but they were never full. easy check in and check out.

Site is very easy to check into after hours. Exceptionally well maintained grounds and equipment. Nice to see the park as pet friendly and not one dog poo anywhere! We stayed in the double deluxe Eco lodge. It was very comfortable and super clean. Was nice to have the bottle of wine on arrival and the Nespresso coffee machine.

Eco lodges were amazing so clean and have everything we needed. Access to laundry room was great for a long stay with kids swimming everyday. Even a coffee van with breakfast and dinner options. You don't need to leave the park :)
