The lodge was in a beautiful secluded setting complete with wildlife at your doorstep. We spotted the rare albino wallabies every day. The facilities and views were great. Our host Liz emailed lots of information and even left us a bottle of wine for a special birthday we were celebrating!
The owner sent us a lot of helpful info well before so we arrived 'prepared'. A lot of thought & care has gone into The Lodge. It was a fabulous place & location & very well appointed
We stayed at the Lodge which is beautifully presented, very clean, quiet and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and is excellent for self catering. The bathrooms are reasonably large and the views from the ensuite are absolutely amazing, as you can observe the wallabies grazing on the lawn. The laundry has both a washing machine and dryer.
We stayed at the Lodge and it was stunning. Perfect location to set up base, and explore Bruny Island. Everything was terrific, with nature all around, and the sound of the ocean lulling you to asleep. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond when needed.
It's a spacious self contained lodge which is kept private from other lodges or cabins and just amongst the bush and the wild life. It's just beautiful to be in the middle of the nature and nothing else around it. It was nice to be greeted by Mr and Mrs Duck every morning 🦆
