The location is just perfect, nestled in between the mountain ridges and overlooking the valley. Hosts were friendly and helpful and available at any time to assist. Facilities are great for braai and perfect for larger groups as well. Beautiful dams, and we caught some bass on lures. On top of the beauty this is one of the very few truly organic fruit farms. The environment is healthy, not pesticides and a lot of best practices that all farms should implement, and even at our own homes. Well done for this gem of a place. We will certainly be back!

I liked that this lodge was stylish, modern and very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. I loved the little extras like the welcoming olives, muscat and tusks. I loved the orchard filled with fruit trees (tangerine/ naartjies, orange, lemon, olive trees and other fruit trees that you could visit and pick some fruit from. Most of all, I loved that the property’s backyard is the most breathtaking Oorlogs mountain where you can hike to your hearts content. I loved that there was a lovely cast iron fire place that kept us warm and cosy on those chilly nights in July. Most of all, the lovely owners Nina and her hubby, Mary-Ann, and their staff member, William, made the experience all that more special.
This is the perfect place if you love nature and are looking to decompress and recharge away from the rat race.
Looking forward to their dam and paddle boats project being completed.

The 4x2 trail was perfect to test out my repaired Pajero's rear diff. The accommodation was comfortable and perfect for families to entertain each other with board games. The balcony provides a perfect setting to sit outside on camp chairs while dad is tending to the braai.
