We stayed at Eight Palms for one night, as a stopover in our journey. Carmien was fabulous, and was very helpful in guiding us on where to go for a great dinner, and arranged an amazing cooked breakfast for us even though we were leaving very early the next morning.

Port Edward is literally a visit to the countryside.
Port Edward is literally a visit to the countryside. But well worth it, with a really great beach. The Wild Coast Sun is also less than 10 minutes drive away and worth the visit if looking for some activities for the family.

The beaches are very clean and the roads safe to travel, no potholes on the main arterial roads. Getting around is a breeze and going to restaurants around the area was very good. Stayed at the Wild Coast Sun for a few days and it was awesome, highly recommended.

The host, Bern, was great. Quite friendly and helpful.
The host, Bern, was great. Quite friendly and helpful. She promptly answered calls and WhatsApp messages when we'd questions. The room is exactly as described on Booking.com. Very well kept and the bed big and comfortable. Staff at the facility, quite friendly and helpful as well. Very close to the shopping center as well. We had meals at the on site restaurant as well as at the Wreck. Lovely view, ambiance and great food at the Wreck. Would certainly recommend it to others.😊

Amazing breakfast, with wonderful crepes, as French, we were to the moon !
Eric and his team are absolutely wonderful, very nice to chat with and there for everything we needed.
The place is easy to find, very well decorated. It’s so nice to see typical african paintings/drapes/designs...
The beds were great, comfy and warm.
Please consider staying here if you are ever near Port Edward !
We did not have breakfast due to covid regulations and the location of the property is quite nice as port edward is not so big. The road exits to 2 access points to the main road, Zesty is quite hidden but a nice and affordable getaway for families or couples. 2 braai areas and keys to access facilities for security purposes.
