Port Edward is a cute little town.
Port Edward is a cute little town. We stopped at Banana Mac to play some mini putt and purchased some amazing goodies from the shop. They have everything you could imagine, including delicious cheeses, jams, chocolate, macadamia nuts, toys, groceries, even a gluten free section! We then went to Beaver Creek Coffee Estate, which have a series of trails for hiking running or biking. We came too late in the day so we were able to pay 35 Rand each and do the bottomless coffee (they even had dairy free milk for me). This was a delicious stop and we bought some coffee. The beaches are nice and we enjoyed our time here!

Port Edward is literally a visit to the countryside.
Port Edward is literally a visit to the countryside. But well worth it, with a really great beach. The Wild Coast Sun is also less than 10 minutes drive away and worth the visit if looking for some activities for the family.

The beaches are very clean and the roads safe to travel, no potholes on the main arterial roads. Getting around is a breeze and going to restaurants around the area was very good. Stayed at the Wild Coast Sun for a few days and it was awesome, highly recommended.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Port Edward
We were pleasantly surprised at the value for money we got while staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the air conditioning worked extremely well.
The food was simple but good. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is superb, with an easy walk to a good swimming beach. On windy days there is a swimming pool, and water activities on the estuary.
