Absolutely spectacular location on a breathtaking farm. The stone cottage is the perfect combination of comfort and being out in nature. Being able to stroll to the cows, mountain, and dams was a lot of fun, and seeing the local eland up close was a once in a lifetime experience.
We also loved meeting Barry, and will definitely be back!

Varkenkraal is beautiful, peaceful and well/conveniently located. The "werkershuis" house is very well equipped and homely. Nice and clean. Debbie was very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed walking up to the dam and braaiing on the veranda at the back of the house. The complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge added a special touch to our stay. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Everything was great, amazing location with beautiful views of the mountains. The Cottage is well equipped with everything you need and more. Loved the stay as it felt like home. Really enjoy the stay there with my family there. Will definitely be back there again to do more exploring. Appreciate the treats as we entered and my son genuinely enjoyed playing with the dogs as he didn't want to leave. Thanks again Robyn and Johan😀😀
