My accommodation was exceptional. Everything was great. From the safe parking, friendly reception, comfortable clean room, amazing view out the balcony, everything was tops.

Location is excellent. We prefer Santos beach, but it's a 5-minute drive so no worries about that. Backup power for the TV during load shedding and enough portable back up lights to make it comfortable when this happens.
The apartment was located in front of Santos beach, easy access to the beach. The host was very accomodating as we had arrived a little late, overall would stay in this apartment again. The apartment has excellent views.
The train is authentic and original fittings are all still in place. The showers have excellent water pressure, and provide good hot water. The facilities are all clean and tidy, and the security of the lodge is taken very seriously, with key controlled security gates to access all rooms as well as night-time security patrols. Listening to the crashing waves at nearby Santos Beach at night was very calming.
The beach-facing location of the apartment was stunning. - right on Santos beach. Lovely to sit on the stoep and watch the kids play on the beach - but NB to note that the stoep open plan and is shared with the 2 neighbouring apartments - no privacy at all.
