Very nice lodge where the staff makes all the difference: it is run by two very friendly ladies who are very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast is a very nice buffet with the option to pre-order hot dishes. We only did that the first day, as the buffet itself was nice enough. Room was very well equipped and had a very nice and large terrace. Easy parking and secure environment.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, even if it was just for one day. We highly recommend it! What stood out the most was the host, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. She made us feel truly welcome and provided us with helpful tips about the area. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, exactly what we were looking for.

A night drive safari and a breakfast safari is a MUST! It is so much fun, you even get a blanket. I always wear glasses in the evening due to the wind as the vehicle drives. Cape Vidal is also a MUST. We did a night safari watching turtles laying eggs. What an experience! Luke is the best guide!

There are a lot of boats on the lake - unfortunately the majority of the tourists do not understand the concept of nature viewing and spend the entire trip screeching and waving at people in passing boats. Such a disappointment.
