The location is great as a middle point between the Cape and Gauteng. You don't see much of Richmond from the N1, but there is so much more if you visit the town. Karoo Manor is walking distance from several interesting sites such as its various art galleries. We felt safe and secure inside the Manor, and in the town as well. Pat and Len went out of their way to welcome us. Pat makes the best lamb chops, and a great pizza to boot. I loved the reading books spread throughout the Manor. Well worth a visit!
