Extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to assist with all requests. Great food. Beautiful setting and buildings. Rooms were serviced twice a day. Very save environment. We spend new year at the hotel and it was very peaceful. Rooms are spacious with outside sitting area. Good wifi. Hotel is very well managed with a smooth check in procedure.

Dullstroom has become this vibey town with new and interesting restaurants. The Vine restaurant is absolutely top class. You have to enjoy at least 1 dinner in this restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Baker Boys and some great whisky, gin tastings. Enjoyed hiking at the dam although markings are not so good.

Quaint village.
Quaint village. Most establishments close early so make sure that you get your replenishments soon. This is a fisherman’s paradise with many resorts offering this activity. Lots of art outlets and pubs .

It is a very beautiful estate form the nature point of view.
It is a very beautiful estate form the nature point of view. I enjoyed horse riding and quad biking. My son enjoyed fishing.
The scenery is exquisite. However, there are a few important things to mention that require urgent attention and improvement.
The mattresses are not comfortable. The pillows are yellow and old. The towels are old. I didn't want to touch anything as it felt like everything was dirty.
The service is very slow. We waited for 40 min for our food to arrive. 30 min to receive a tea pot with hot water. There were not tea bags in the room. The tea selection is poor. The quality of food was not great. No rye bread available.
We stayed in the rooms 6, 9, 10 and 14. The rooms had an unpleasant odor. The building is not well maintained.
This place is rated with a 4-star rating, but I would only give it a 2 star.
A suggestion: It would be nice to have bicycles for rent.

A beautiful little town with lots to offer. Little hidden gems all around, not just in the main road. Lots to do for the outdoor enthusiasts and allot of the places are pet friendly that makes for a great weekend for the whole family.

We booked a room in the hotel, with a romantic 70th birthday dinner on the first night. When we arrived we were moved out of the hotel to a chalet and told we could order takeaways because the hotel had a group of people coming in for a function. We drove to Dullstroom to buy food which we cooked ourselves in the chalet. This was extremely disappointing and not the treatment we expected from a five star hotel.
Great location in Dullstroom town, walking distance to Dullstroom Inn and hotel and all the shops and restaurants in the main street. Spacious property with 4 en-suite bedrooms.
