A very beautiful and secured property in Hermanus. Very close to the new Harbour from where you can take whale watching tours. Staff is very helpful and sweet to talk to. The property itself is beautiful made and very well maintained. I could have stayed for more nights, but next time. Definitely recommend staying here.
What's not to like? We were upgraded to a large suite, part of the separate villa, which was lovely. A warm welcome with attentive and pleasant staff. Safe and secure parking. Helpful throughout the booking process too. Possible to walk the coast from the place. The New Harbour is walkable as was the Rock, where we ate the first night, although we took the car as it was dark.
The breakfast was excellent. The common areas were very nicely appointed and contained books, games and an honesty bar. There was also a lovely fireplace with comfortable chairs outside the lounge in the Villa section of the guesthouse. There was a pool in the main area and also at the Villa where there are 5 or 6 rooms. There are nice restaurants easily accessible at the New Harbour and the start of the Cliff walk is just down the road.
Location was good for access to the new harbour & a 20min walk into old harbour,
Breakfast was arranged at time you required, load shedding did mean no toast tho.

The area was conveniently in walking distance to the lovely Hermanus coastal trail and the new harbour.
Everything else that Hermanus has to offer is a short drive away.
The chalet had all modern conveniences required for my stay.

An extremely well-appointed unit with all the luxuries needed for a comfortable stay. Dirk and Yvonne are the perfect hosts! The unit is in a quiet area, but still conveniently close to the famous Hermanus cliff path and the new harbour restaurants. Also, definitely worthwhile to walk all the way to the old harbour along the cliff path, stopping for something to eat and drink at Fick's Pool.
It is situated right in front of the complex with a short walk across the garden to join a walking path along the rocky coastline. Stunning sunsets over the ocean and the view is beautiful. Nice fireplace and also an outdoor patio with a fire pit.
Well situated near the New Harbour, so close to the cliff walk, Abelone farm and tour and 2 lovely restaurants. We almost missed the rest of what Hermanus has to offer near the Old Harbor! 3 Nights minimum to see everything!
Breakfasts were excellent, and Rene was both charming and helpful. The property is conveniently located for both the New Harbour (excellent fish restaurant there) and the shoreline nature reserve walkways into the centre of Hermanus.
