Immaculate hotel well appointed upgraded room to the main hotel as opposed to the annex we had booked which was a lovely surprise. Fantastic views over Plettenberg bay and the bonus of watching the whales and beautiful sunrises. Comfortable bed and well decorated throughout the hotel with amazing garden sculptures. Excellent food with fab views in the restaurant and very welcoming and friendly staff. We will be back!

Its a small and intimate place, there are several hiking trails if you are a hiking lover. It is 33 kilometres from the bloukrans bridge where you can go bungy jumping and several activities. There is a beach and restaurants at the main . You can also visit the Tsitsikama park about 56 Kms from Plet and visit the suspension bridge , have lunch at their resturant and just watch the wild sea as it plunges against the rocks, very refreshing. It is a beatiful small town. You can still visit the Knysna with its entertainment

I visited Plettenberg Bay in August 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. Whale watching was a highlight, with incredible sightings of whales and their calves. The area's natural beauty, pristine beaches, and hiking trails are stunning. I also explored the Robberg Nature Reserve, which offered breathtaking views and a chance to see seals up close. The local dining options were fantastic, with fresh seafood and cozy spots to enjoy a meal. Plettenberg Bay is a perfect destination for nature lovers and anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around.
Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around. Lots to do and see in and around Plettenberg Bay. Be careful whe choosing accommodation. Booking.com asked our arrival time at our accommodation booked which we said will be between 16h00 and 17h00. We had the option to pay on arrival. For security we gave our credit card number on booking.com. However...our host put the payment through at 14h00 when we were stil in Knysna. Our host added an additional fee to our booking. Our host had his own reasons for charging the additional fee. We arrived in time. Will not recommend The Green Palm Cottage

Our family, with three kids under 12, had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The facilities, warm hospitality, and stunning location exceeded our expectations. What makes this place truly unique is its setting in a horse stable, perched directly on a cliff with breathtaking ocean views—perfect for horse lovers. Despite its peaceful surroundings, it's conveniently close to the city. The personalized care from the hosts made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommend for a relaxing and unique getaway!
