As we left the venue three security guards were chasing two men who have obviously been naughty.
I would not recommend people of my age to visit the City Centre though.
We spent more time in the Fourways area after 77 On Percy and found that to be a safer area.

The only thing I feel for the city people to be more on the street is to have a good public transportation system which is sadly missing. Hardly there are any persons seen on the street and this gives you a feeling of fear to walk around. Evenings and night are spent mailing in the confines of your hotel room which makes it boring.

Some great day tours and half day tours from Johannesburg.
Some great day tours and half day tours from Johannesburg. Definitely recommend the Lesedi cultural village,walk with lions,walk with elephants, apartheid museum and military museum.
Six hour drive to Kruger Park or there's a couple of small airports close to Kruger from Joberg.
Ubers are the main way to get around and most tour people communicate through WhatsApp.
ATMs are very hard to find, make sure your travel card is fully loaded and you have enough cash.

Great location situated just off a main road but extremely private in the Sandton area. Within walking distance of the Sandton CBD. Great security at the complex and a very welcoming and friendly host at the property for who nothing is too much trouble. The units are well furnished and provide all the necessary basics for an apartment living in the city. Great for a couple on a short break or business people spending a few nights in Johannesburg for some work.
I loved everything about the Fairway Hotel and spar. The room was neat, I had my room decorated for my boyfriend's birthday, the hotel went all out to decorate the room with roses etc, it was the most beautiful thing I have ever set my eyes on. The breakfast was the best, everything about this hotel was 5 star. I recommend this hotel for everyone wishing to come to jhb👌
The hotel was very good and the chefs were very polite, save you had one waiter in the restaurant who had this typical South African black folks attitude of looking down upon people. If you can fix this all is well. Unfortunately I can't give you more details about her as I do not want you to fire her.
