Hotels near Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, Bela-Bela

The host (Nico) is a friendly welcoming owner. The house is a home away from home with everything we needed, clean, comfortable, and open space with enough sitting areas. The helper was also friendly with good communication skills. The Buffalo 🐃 roaming round the house was a bonus 👌 Definitely will come back, what we regret of was short stay. I wish we should have booked on school holidays for a long stay.

Located deep in the heart of Mabalingwe Priave Resort, Baobab Lodge was a true oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. As we checked in, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the sprawling grasslands and the distant hills. The rooms were elegantly decorated in earthy tones and traditional African art, making us feel instantly at home. During our stay, we spent our days exploring the vast expanse of the surrounding wilderness, going on guided safari tours to see the incredible wildlife that called this place home. In the evenings, we gathered around the crackling fire pit, swapping stories and listening to the haunting calls of the nocturnal creatures that roamed the darkness. As we sipped on sundowner cocktails and watched the sun set, we felt a profound connection to the land and the wildlife that inhabited it. It was as if we had become one with nature, our hearts beating in time with the rhythm of the African bush. As we reluctantly packed our bags to leave, we knew that Baobab Lodge had left an indelible mark on our souls. We had truly enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we vowed to return one day to this magical place where nature reigned supreme and we felt truly alive.
