Melamar Estate, hotel in Marloth Park

Located in Marloth Park, 21 km from Crocodile Bridge, Melamar Estate provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melamar Estate, and it was an experience we'll cherish for years. From the moment we arrived, we felt a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay special. The bungalows are charming and comfortable, each equipped with its own private BBQ. We enjoyed a lovely evening grilling and dining al fresco, with the stunning natural surroundings adding a magical touch to our meal. The estate's on-site lapa and restaurant are exclusive to guests, offering a short but excellent menu that emphasizes fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was a culinary delight Parking is ample and free, which made our stay even more convenient. We also appreciated the estate's commitment to environmental sustainability, highlighted by the presence of free-roaming animals as we are both digital nomad’s that work in the sustainability business. It was nice to see these creatures in their natural habitat, and it reminded us of the importance of being considerate guests in such a beautiful environment. In summary, Melamar Estate exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of private bungalows, excellent dining, a pristine swimming pool, and thoughtful amenities created a perfect retreat for us.

Grace of Africa, Couples 5 STAR Nature Lodge, hotel in Marloth Park

Boasting an infinity pool and views of pool, Grace of Africa, Couples 5 STAR Nature Lodge is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Marloth Park, 19 km from Crocodile Bridge.

Great property with amazing staff. Michael was a great host and very helpful throughout our stay. The place is nicely decorated and very comfortable, with animals wondering around (ie. zebras, girrafes, ...). The dinner we had at location was also great and there is also a supermarket at a 10 min walking distance. Easy to drive / park in and/or for game drive pickups. Highly recommended.

Foxy Crocodile Bush Retreat & Kruger Safari's - No Loadshedding, hotel in Marloth Park

Foxy Crocodile Bush Retreat & Kruger Safari's - No Loadshedding is an off-grid eco-lodge situated in Marloth Park, 50 metres from the Crocodile River.

The moment we arrived at Foxy Crocodile - we were greeted with this amazing big smile, from owner Riëtte. That was it for both us - a big welcoming smile and we automatically felt at home. Riëtte’s husband Basil was always around if we needed any advice or help and was very welcoming and chilled out. Which is what we really wanted - chilled and happy hosts. Glen was our Kruger National Park guide, from Foxy Crocodile - now this guy is something else. Very very knowledgeable and took us to parts of the park, where there were no other guides. And yes - we managed to spot all of the Big Five in one day. You couldn’t make it up - so a big 10/10 for Riëtte,Basil and Glen for that amazing experience. Couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff:- Elizabeth, Patricia, Nompie, Lucky and Pendulo were all brilliant. Always around if and when you needed anything and the food they prepared was out of this world. The staff would always stop for a little chat, which was nice and they all seemed so happy. The location is right on the KNP - so don’t be surprised when the odd Giraffe, Impala, Kudu or Warthogs casually walk by when you’re having your breakfast. Amazing experience - which we highly recommend. For the location, the host, the KNP guide and of course the staff. We will return 😊😊

A great house with big windows only a stone's throw to the entrance of the Lionspruit Game Reserve. At first we thought that the house has just been completed since the walls were bare and it was very echoing. But I think it was used to be like that and besides the rooms were equipped with all that we needed. We also don't have a TV at home ;-) and rather watched the Kudus visiting us early in the mornings.
