It’s a super half way stop which although close to the N1 offers a peaceful game farm-like experience. With the rolling lawns perfect for a family with children. Self catering but they offer a service that gets all one’s dinner or braai things ready which is a huge help!

Palatial size accommodation at excellent 4 star standard and great location.
Clean and spacious fully equipped chalet. There are 7 chalets and are spaced well apart for maximum privacy. The chalets overlook a small water hole and there are game species and giraffe roaming the property. There is opportunity to drive to the Stables accommodation and also to walk around. The accommodation is a 5 min drive from the Karoo National Park. Great braai area and a shop where you can stock up on braai essentials.
A beautiful oasis in the middle of the Karoo. The friendly hosts are very helpful. We are really glad to relax at the Olive Groves after visiting Karoo National Park. The Farm is perfect for a family vacation.
The farmhouse feels wonderfully remote but is, in fact, quite close to Beaufort West and the entry to the Karoo National Park. Our small apartment had a fully functional kitchen and Wifi. Outside, there was a barbecue grill with firewood. Highly recommended.
Comfortable beds with spacious, clean room, close to good restaurants and Karoo National Park which make it
suitable for more than just a stopover. Quiet area
Having driven past previously, though we would give it a try for one night on route to the Karoo National Park. Had a wonderful stay in this little gem. The best was that one can walk anywhere property and see so many animals close-up. Should have stayed longer, but will next time.
The accommodation was above our expectations. We liked this quiet and cozy apartment. Everything was excellent - the kitchen, the neat and comfortable bedrooms, and the bathrooms. I would strongly recommend this place as a stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town or if one wants to visit the Karoo National park. Thank you for the hospitality! :)
Warm welcome and spacious room. Nice area to sit outside the room and by the pool. We arrived on the only day that dinner isn't served so we had to go out and there wasn't a lot of choice for places to eat. We only stayed one night as we were en route to the Car. Really enjoyed a visit to the Karoo National Park.
Thanks for a great stay
Located just off the N1 main road the cottage and surrounding garden are an oasis. Elmarie is a friendly and interesting host.
This is a perfect location for visiting the Karoo National Park – close and great value. The cottage is well equipped for a short stay with a number of eating places nearby.
