Lovely location. Unit very comfortable. Even though it was cold outside, it was very cosy inside. Good value for money. Hostess very friendly and helpful. Took a walk around and saw some animals. Only stayed overnight, so couldn't fully appreciate the surroundings.

It's a little dorpie, so not much to do there but Assegaibosch Lodge was amazing. Great property with springboks, horses and blue crane on site for viewing. Great views of the surrounding mountains. Great hospitality from Leandra and the team. A bit of a long drive from the Tsitsikama National Park but definitely worth the drive. Great price point as well.

Leandra and Frans made our first time stay truly remarkable. We stayed at Assegaaibosch from 23 to 27 December and it was such a fantastic stay we had. This cozy lodge has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts ( Leandra and Frans) delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and mouth watering meals and deserts. Lots of amenities on site. I highly recommend Assegaaibosch lodge to everyone!
