Excellent room size with spacious bathroom and beautiful view with balcony, worth the price. Buffet breakfast amazing and had variations of dishes daily which kept things fresh and interesting. Staff very were polite and always courteous.

The hotel is really lovely in a great location. We were only there for one night and I would have liked to be there longer to make proper use of everything. My sister had contacted the hotel to set up a bottle of wine for me, which they sent to the room when we arrived.

The staff at San Palace were exceptional - very helpful during the booking process, and they assisted us to book a few tours around Hanoi - attentive at all times. They gave great suggestions on local attractions - restaurants, etc. It's in a terrific location, walking to many famous Hanoi attractions. Room size was plenty for the three of us (king double + single).

Everything about this hotel was great, location was wonderful, breakfast was very good. But the staff were exceptional! Amanda at the front desk was wonderful, she made you feel so welcome as did everyone else. We took a tour that Amanda had arranged and the tour guide hung was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We can't say enough about our stay. Would recommend this hotel anytime.

It felt much more luxurious than the price suggests. Right from the outset with the doormen and the welcome drinks. We had a room with an external window so no issues with lack of light. Location is excellent. The hotel spa is also excellent — incredible massage and all-around luxury treatment.
