Very friendly and helpful staff, especially on the front desk and by the pool. We checked in by 10am and they were kind enough to let us use all the facilities like full guests and then came and gave us our room key by midday. The rooftop pool area is small but very nicely done. The decor throughout the entire hotel is a modern take on old classic and nicely done.

Beautiful old restored house with a lovely bedroom, overlooking Plaza Zabala, close to the Buenos Aires ferry terminal. A very comfortable bed & a themed room with tasteful antique football memorabilia - ours was based on an Uruguayan footballer who played in the first ever World Cup winning team in 1930 - priceless. Breakfast was excellent, including the best muesli I have ever had in my life! The staff were magnificent - kind, helpful, intelligent, good-humoured & genuinely warm people who really made you feel comfortable & welcome. There was a beautiful library to relax in & a magnificent view of the sun setting in the Rio Plata.
