The location is perfect. Some 30 minutes by car from the airport (depending on traffic even less). A few steps to Pier 39, the hotspot of Fishermans Wharf.
The staff is friendly, and the rooms matched our expectations based on the pictures.

Home to one of America’s icons – the Golden Gate Bridge – San Francisco is a liberal city where life is very much for the living.
Surrounded on 3 sides by water, it is spread over steep hills that make for great photo opportunities. None better than the zig-zag Lombard Street seen in many a film. Other movie stars are the streetcars plying the hill climbs – a little touristy, but still worth trying.
In the middle of the bay is Alcatraz island, famed for the notorious criminals once imprisoned there. Even if you don’t fancy going inside, the views towards the bridge and city are unparalleled.
Nowhere in San Francisco is life more laidback than on the Pacific beaches. Hire a bike and head out there via the huge Golden Gate Park, before returning to sample some fresh seafood at Fisherman’s Wharf. The clam chowder served in (yes, actually in!) bread is a delight. Chinatown also has a great selection of good value restaurants.
As you fly into San Francisco Airport, look out for the exclusive homes lining the Bay Area. Whether you want to stay in apartments along those lines, luxury San Francisco hotels or cheap hostels, Booking.com has something to suit. Be careful though – you might just leave your heart here.

We rented bicycles and biked through and passed the Golden Gate Bridge. That was the highlight of our short trip. It was wonderful, the fresh air, spectacular views, the thrill, and getting our workouts. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the city!

Just a 2 night stay in Sanfrancisco before flying back to...
Just a 2 night stay in Sanfrancisco before flying back to the UK, had spent 11 days in san Luis Obispo visiting family and wanted to take in some sights. Would highly recommend Alcatraz, we didn't pre book as it was out of season and not so busy and it was much cheaper at pier 33but in high season I probably wouldn't chance it. We also took an open bus tour and that was well worth it, we couldn't have squeezed so many places in otherwise, the hop on hop off bus was a very good way of touring the city sights. The street cars are amazing and public transport very reasonable and plentiful. Fisherman's wharf and pier 39 are very touristy and offer many different food choices, especially seafood. Obviously very hilly streets, great work out walking, felt safe and the road crossing was easy to negotiate.
Definitely would recommend.

We stayed five days (four nights), celebrating my birthday.
We stayed five days (four nights), celebrating my birthday. Although we had a personal car, we left it parked in the secure garage below our lodging and we took Uber, driverless Waymo, and taxies whenever we went out. Next time we'll probably get a Muni bus pass as there was a bus stop in front of our lodging.
This trip was to be a FUN trip with adventures and food at the top of our list. First full day we had a 3-hour walking food tour of China Town, with a personal guide ($160). Highlights included a Chinese bakery, the original Dim Sum restaurant, St. Mary's Cathedral, a Chinese Fortune Cookie factory, a tea tasting experience with a tea expert, and a Peking Duck lunch. Another day began with breakfast and Irish coffees at the Buena Vista bar, a walk along Fisherman's Wharf and culminated with a 2-hour Hop On/Hop Off bus tour of San Francisco, including a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge. The third day we attended a live performance of Waitress at the San Francisco Playhouse. Our trip also included a delicious dinner at Perry's on Union Street, a memorable Greek dinner at Ricco Mediterranean and a disappointing dinner at historic John's Grill (service and quality of food were way below expectations).
Uber and Waymo rides were easy to reserve using the appropriate apps. Taxi rides were hailed from the street. Prices were comparable for all three, except no tips for the Waymo driverless cars (hence about $10 cheaper).

I was there for 2 days - had been before - went on a tour with Fog Cutter tours (highly recommend this company)which gave me a taste of a variety of sights along with a trip to Alcatraz. I didn't do it this time but recommend a tour to the Napa region and also Muir Woods. I walked everywhere but took the cable car to the hotel to avoid the hills. I stayed at MCitizen Hotel which was downtown close to the cable car and public transport - Great hotel - very trendy. If you are Aussie or Kiwi recommend Cafe Central they can make a flat white! Good food too.

I know San Francisco, as I lived there 3 years a long time ago. The restaurant prices are now outrageous. Though I visited some places I enjoy like Sausilito, the Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Chinatown, I won't go back for quite awhile. Thankful I could buy some things at Trader Joe's or I could not have ate 3 meals per day there.

Hotel is within a five minutes walk to Union Square so well positioned to enjoy tourist attractions. The rooms are clean and spacious with all necessary facilities. The room had access to coffee with a large fridge.
The stay is comfortable with plenty of space.
The breakfast was adequate for our needs and set us up for the day. A few extra breakfast options would be nice but it was good enough.
The hotel security was good and we were allowed to store our luggage after checking out which meant we had more time in San Francisco to explore.
Spotless hotel in a great location. Neighbourhood is very safe and has plenty of bars & restaurants to enjoy. We saw some bad reviews for the car park around the corner so decided to park at a secure car park on union street roughly 10 mins walk away, it was $30 a for 24hrs and very secure. The hotel’s loading bay at the entrance makes unpacking and repacking the car with luggage super easy. Also the rooftop has fantastic views of the city. Overall by far the best option we had found in San Francisco, especially for the price.
We recently stayed at Executive Hotel Vintage Court during our trip to San Francisco, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. While there were some positive aspects, there were also several areas that left me feeling underwhelmed.
Firstly, the location of Executive Hotel Vintage Court was convenient, as it was centrally located in downtown San Francisco. This allowed for easy access to popular attractions and public transportation.
Modern and beautiful hotel in San Francisco. We loved the spacious room and the rooftop bar and restaurant. The LUMA hotel is in a good position for visiting the city, even tough is not actually in the center of the city. With public transportation you can reach downtown in few minutes but is also really nice to walk around Misson Bay.
The room I have is spacious and staff there are friendly. The hotel is new and very near to hop on hop off bus stop. Walking distance to Union Square as well. The most important, provide service to keep the luggage which I saw many of San Francisco Hotel doesn't provide this service.
