I have a very hard time finding anything wrong with this hotel it’s minimal chic art deco interior gives me so much satisfaction, it’s just so beautiful and simple.

The area was fantastic, close enough to Wrigley Field to walk, lots of restaurants along the way. Felt very safe. The hotel was quaint and very clean, but definitely older so that meant missing some amenities (such as a fan in the washroom). Overall though we enjoyed our stay. We would go back.
Front desk staff were excellent on all accounts, including door, car service, bellhop, and bar staff. Was pleasantly surprised at the value for our breakfast at the Venteux, the fried mini potatoes were amazing. Loved the walkability to everything we wanted to see, including a concert at Soldier Stadium and Cubs game at Wrigley Field. I looked into buying a pillow (from the online store) because it was so good, but it doesn't appear that they ship to Canada.
The Hotels location is great but that is all, it is directly over the road from Wrigley Field that's why they are charging extremely high room rates, the Hotel is nothing special I have stayed in far better Hotels in the world for far less money with Breakfast include in the price which it wasn't here!!!
