Normally you’d spend most of your beach walk going parallel to the shoreline, but at Wildwood Beach it can take quite a while just to get to the sea. That’s because it’s immensely wide, with the promenade set back from the beach at a distance of around a mile in places. That means you’ll be surrounded by plenty of open space on your stroll.
