Best decision we ever made. We changed our hotel reservation at the last minute to stay here as we were worried about some bad reviews at the place we had originally booked. The hotel made us feel welcome, comfortable and so unbelievably well looked after. It’s in A great location, the staff are amazing and our room was incredible. As first timers in the city we couldn’t have picked a better spot. We were staying as the last leg of our trip up the coast as a family and celebrating my partners birthday. It’s a stay we’ll never forget!

Great location with welcoming staff. This hotel has an apartment/hotel feel. We had a two bedroom, two bath and kitchen. Ticked all the boxes and was very central for the tourist attractions. Hotel was quiet so if you are looking for this sort of a set up then check it out.

Sadly Union Squares gone so downhill, tbh it couldn't get much worse. So many empty shops. This wasn't for first trip to San Francisco, regrettably it will be our last. The change in the last six years is massive. We didn't feel particularly safe there, which wasn't helped by all the signs warning you. Our first night there must have been 100-150 motorbikes and Quads all racing down the Main Street, with loads of the bikes pulling wheelies, this wasn't an official organised event simply a load of bikers took it upon themselves. There was one police car with its lights flashing but nobody taking an ounce of notice.

Close to a lot of nice cafes and shops.
Close to a lot of nice cafes and shops. The staff in the subway are pretty touchy, and you have to get the clipper card to use public transport. The area going away from the wharf is quite seedy, like an open-air opium den with drug users injecting in public. Some of the cafes included taxes of ~$30USD, bringing out breakfast for 2 to $85. Better to ask ahead. Expensive place overall.

Union Square is right in the heart of San Francisco with lawns, steps and trees. A perfect square amongst expensive hotels and Macy's store. Nice to sit and eat lunch and watch the passing parade. Also the cable car goes up the side street of Union Square.

Located in an old renovated building, the hotel is nicely decorated and provides a genuine and personalized experience of urban American life. The personnel is great and super welcoming. Location near Union Square is ideal as a base camp to explore the city. Really recommend this hotel also considering price vs quality.
The hotel is without a breakfast but personnel guided to recommended walking distance recommended cofee shops and
restaurants , location is around 20 mins walk to Union Square , some streets around are kind of dark and still many homeless people .
Well located (easy walk to Union Square) hotel which is spotlessly clean. Suite was large and well equipped so perfect for our 3 night stay as we could prepare simple breakfasts and dinners "in-house".
My room was amazing I asked for a " room with a view" and it did not disappoint. I had a room on the 31st floor with an amazing view. The bed was large and super comfy and the room was very clean. Location was central and absolutely fantastic I was able to walk to Union Square I loved everything about it including the lift with the fantastic view. I felt very safe in the location and the hotel itself. It exceeded my expectations.
Is an old hotel but was comfortable - rooms were a good size. In a good location. Continental breakfast included was a bonus. Some great pubs in the area - the Last drop tavern & the Sutter pub. 8 minute walk to Union square
Great hotel in excellent location for the cable car(stop/pickup just across the street),and the Bart Station. Easy walk down to Union square...just don't try to walk back up(but a day pass on the cable car sorts that). Clean and comfortable room. Nice bar and restaurant. Seemed safe.
We selected Nob Hill as our neighborhood for our stay in San Francisco, and this hotel proved to be an outstanding choice. Located just a few minutes' walk from both Chinatown and Union Square, it is also conveniently situated near the Ferry Building and other city attractions.
The hotel's highlight is undoubtedly its breakfast, which is both diverse and generous, served in their inviting pub area. The surrounding neighborhood is notably quiet and safe, providing a serene atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploration.
The location is one of the best things about this hotel. You feel safe!!! It’s in a safe area right next to union square, which has all the nice shops, cable cars and hop on buses.
The room had all the amenities you need. They even gave us a kettle to make tea. The bathroom also has plugs near the mirror which is a bonus!
Also if you take a drinks bottle then they provide free cold water in the reception which was a bonus!
