FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Gaudy and overblown. A cash cow. Very expensive.

Gaudy and overblown. A cash cow. Very expensive. But an entertainment Mecca. Crazy ! Too much junk food, and it was a struggle to find a more balanced diet for the duration. A bus runs the strip, which is good value. But personally I used Vegas as a base for some side trips. Grand Canyon etc.

Vegas is hard to describe because everywhere is different.

Vegas is hard to describe because everywhere is different. It's a bit like the old film Westworld but without the killer robots. I'll definitely be back. The spheercis like nothing I've ever experienced before. You have to go to understand.

    Big, brash, gaudy and busy.

Big, brash, gaudy and busy. But we knew that and went to see the hotel buildings (some are like WOW), the Sphere and have a fun time. And we did for 2 days. That's enough. But LV is expensive even by standards in other parts of the States. E.g. AUD$17 for a very average cappuccino. Recommend time in other cities in the States TBH.

We loved the night shows. We saw a ventriloquist, a magician, a dance show, a traditional entertainer, and a Broadway play. Oceans 101 was delicious food for a reasonable price. Enjoyed Egg Slut and the Chandelier bar.

Budget hotel in the outskirts of Las Vegas with adjacent casino. Price was OK for Vegas, especially when booked on short notice. Rooms look better inside than what one may expect seeing the outside of the hotel or the corridors. Driving to the Strip or airport is easy (< 20 min) though. People are the front desk were correct. You can often get something on the Strip for similar prices if booked early, I would recommend this only as the last option.

The hotel is ok. All the negative reviews are a bit overdone. The hotel is the cheapest on the strip and of course it's not a 5 star hotel. Nevertheless it suites the purpose, is cheap and and acceptaby clean. The staff is very friendly. When you take a room a bit further from the elevator there is no noise at all.
