Everything about this motel is great. 10/10 for every point. 10 minUte walk to the beginning of the strip so you don’t miss anything. Quiet and very safe location. Would recommend here. Why pay over the odds for a resort hotel when you can visit them whenever you like and for as long as you like, and pay their extortionate resort fees? It makes no sense to be. This place is a hidden gem. Loads of parking and for the Warner times, a lovely looking pool with sun terrace for that rest needed. Breakfast was sufficient and convenient and did exactly what it’s intended for, to grab and go

So much to see and do in Las Vegas. We had a great time.
So much to see and do in Las Vegas. We had a great time. Next time I would ride share from the airport instead of renting a car. The line was ridiculously long to get the bus to the car rental building. It would have saved money just to take taxi or ride share. Same thing with walking around Las Vegas. It is easiest just to ride share.

There is a lot to do for families in Las Vegas and I would highly recommend to visit. It is expensive so be prepared but if you book a lot of the tours and sites before you go it does help. Allow yourself a day or two for jet lag. We stayed for 13 nights and our children were 13 and 11 so they were tall enough for all the roller coasters etc. We walked over 150km during the holiday but also used the Deuce Bus and Lyfts/Uber. The Deuce bus can become expensive when travelling in a group, there's no discount for children so we had to use the 24hr pass which was $32 a day. We couldn't commit to the 3 day pass, $80, as we had day tours booked to Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon on different days. So the Uber/Lyfts worked out cheaper at $5-$10 for the 4 of us.
There are tons of things for children to do, we visited the wax museum, Neon Museum, Pinball Museum, The Sphere, The High Roller The Las Vegas Sign, The Magic Mountains, Freemont, Container Park, Omega Park, Top Golf, Top Flight, Main Strip Shops and Shopping Centres, The North and South Outlets. On top of all the sites and tours there's the walk through all the hotels, the arcades, shows, and just people watching.
It's a holiday of a lifetime and a holiday that the family will never forget. We absolutely loved Las Vegas !

Las Vegas was surreal.
Las Vegas was surreal. Stayed for two nights after visiting Grand Canyon which is the polar opposite of Vegas. The crowds, noise and lights of Vegas was an eye opener. Impressive, huge hotels were a sight to see. Very expensive to eat and drink, plenty of choice for restaurant/cafes/bars. Bellagio Fountains show in the evening was magnificent.

Be prepared to SPEND $$!!! Especially on food!!
Be prepared to SPEND $$!!! Especially on food!! Everything is priced for the elite level visitor, so once you get over that fact...SO MUCH FUN!! Easy access to places of interest (plan to ride share, it is SO much nicer and less expensive). The hotels allow entry into the lobby level to gawk and experience their opulence, but no going up to the rooms (great safety feature). Liked seeing old Vegas (Fremont St experience) vs new (Las Vegas Blvd area). Beautiful, clean city, we felt safe walking at night...gotta see the lights & Sphere!! Family friendly too...meaning there are things you can find to do for all ages. The whole reputation of 'what happens in Vegas...etc...is old school. Now, I think it is what you make it.

Las Vegas is what you'd expect it to be.
Las Vegas is what you'd expect it to be. Hotels go from amazing to cruddy. There are a ton of people, especially for New Years. If you get off the strip (we took the Double Deuce bus from the strip downtown) you can definitely see Las Vegas' underbelly. Lots of blight-empty land, garbage, rundown retail and housing- a typical city these days. But all of the service we encountered from wait staff, performers, hotel personnel, security, etc. was amazing! That is not typical of many cities (SF for example.) To spend less for things, definitely go out of the hotels. Eat and drink just off the strip and you will certainly save money.

I enjoy Vegas for the shows and entertainment.
I enjoy Vegas for the shows and entertainment. This trip I saw the comedian, Luenell at Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy club; and Janet Jackson at Resorts World. Vegas is walkable to most attractions. However, using the monorail that connects several hotels is an option as well. I did it this past trip to see what it was like. I took it to get as close to Resorts World as I could because the Blvd. was closed to traffic for the fireworks. After that, I took a quick, five minute taxi ride to the concert. You can always find something for everyone to enjoy. There are free things to do as well: the Bellagio has the fountains that is synchronized to music and the beautiful botanical gardens; the Flamingo has the wildlife habitat; or the Fremont Street Experience which has a vibe of its own (zip lining, light shows on the largest LED screen, concerts/DJs). Fremont has a lot to offer and prices are usually cheaper here than on the strip. For breakfast I go to Hash House a Go Go inside the LINQ hotel. The food is plentiful and the service was good. You can make reservations, but this time I walked in and was seated right away. My favorite restaurant for dinner is Gordon Ramsay’s-Hell’s Kitchen. There is actually a red and a blue kitchen. The food was good and full of flavor.

For a cheaper alternative to some of the fancier hotels on strip you can’t go wrong. $20 for upgrade with a large room, large bed and great view of the strip. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel was. Casino and restaurants are great to get started but you’ll want to move on to the other casinos while there. Few extra gifts such as casino money as we were hotel guests was great. Would definitely recommend others to stay there! Also free parking which was great
Hotel is not directly located on the strip, meaning it is quieter. It is though near the Wetstgate monorail station with easy access to the hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas boulevard. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Large parking garage available right next to the hotel. Snacks and refreshments are available to buy at the first floor.
I really liked the location of the hotel, I just had to walk very little to enjoy the attractions, the pool, the cozy aviation, it was one of the best experiences. Thank you Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
