Our room, suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, was so great. We loved that there was a kitchen with a dinner table and a living room, too. So much space! The pool area looked beautiful. A grocery store was right next to the hotel. Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach are quite near.

The location is not great: the hotel is squeezed between a row of old houses across a busy street from the beach. To get to the beach one needs to take a couple of elevators and a bridge across the road. The area in general is not pretty and not well developed.
The La Quinta Inn and Suites Fort Myers features a daily continental breakfast with waffles and an outdoor pool is on site. This hotel is 6 miles from the Fort Myers beaches.
