We were reluctant to stay at the viewpoint because it had a three star rating online. We are so glad that we took a chance because it was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had. The accommodations were amazing, the view is breathtaking, the salt water pool was beautiful, and the staff was incredible. Bri the manager went above and beyond to make our stay an anniversary we will always cherish. We will be going back next year and for years to come. The viewpoint is a true 5 star hotel and we loved our stay.

We utilized the indoor pool, spa and outdoor hot tub. All were very clean. This hotel is about a 5 minute walk to town via a side road (no sidewalk, but manageable), a little over 10 minutes to the beach and probably 20 ish minutes to Perkins Cove. The beach offers 30 minute parking if someone in your part is willing to drop off and walk back. The coffee and hot chocolate available throughout the day was nice.

It can get very busy and parking can be limited.
It can get very busy and parking can be limited. It is a fun place to visit with interesting shops and several restaurants. There are sightseeing boats at the cove for fun adventures on the sea. You do compete with the fishermen as it is a working pier.

We walked the 'Marginal Way' back to Ogunquit from Perkins Cove. Lovely walk, fabulous views, and quiet trail.

The location of the property was good, easy access to both Ogunquit beach and Perkins Cove, all in walking distance (as long as you don't mind walking 15 minutes or less. Property looked nicer on the outside than the inside. It was clean and staff was were very friendly. Bathroom was upgraded recently with more modern look.
The Breakfasts were so delicious :) the afternoon happy hour was such a good time and one cannot forget Bentley their dog who was so precious & delightful. The owners Lawrence & Glen and their staff are so delightful and accommodating making sure your every need is fulfilled. The Trellis house is the only place we stay when visiting Ogunquit for it seems like home away from home. The location is ideal for it is a short walk to town, or to the beach or Perkins cove.
We liked the location because everything we wanted to do was in walking distance: The Marginal Way, The Ogunquit Playhouse, Perkins Cove, downtown Ogunquit, etc. Our room was spacious and clean - important factors! We enjoyed the outdoor pool as well. The front desk staff was exceptional.

The location and view cannot be beat in Ogunquit. It’s walkable to the Marginal Way, town center & even Perkins Cove! Everything you need for a lovely stay is provided.
Beautiful setting, well-appointed and perfectly decorated. Impeccably clean and perfectly situated between downtown Ogunquit, Perkins Cove and access to the Marginal Way. Charles and David are wonderful hosts and the breakfast is delicious with such a nice variety of options.
