I loved that everything we wanted to do was within a ten minute walk and we were able to park our car in the hotel garage. Everything abt the room and lobby breakfast and reception was amazing! Exceeded expectations will always be back if in the area

The hotel was very close to downtown and the fisherman’s wharf, walked 5 mins. Short drive to the aquarium. Plenty of parking spaces. The beds were very comfortable. Even when our rooms were in front of the street we couldn’t hear it through our windows. Very clean housekeeping service. The parking concierge even gave us a map to go to the aquarium. I would stay here again and when I come back to Monterey. They even had a virtual concierge via text if you needed anything in your room.

The outside of the building may be dated, but the rooms inside have been recently updated and were clean & comfortable. Walkable to old fisherman’s wharf and a main drag of restaurants/bars
The hotel is really beautiful (Spanish style), the lobby gorgeous, our room wonderful (we were given an upgrade if we were willing to walk up the stairs as the lift on our side wasn’t working). The location is excellent (5 mins walk to Fisherman’s Wharf… where we saw seals!) and breakfast way better than expected. I love the inside - outside nature of the hotel, too. Great value for money and so good for our family of six.
