The room was lovely and just like the photographs. We really enjoyed the location and the outdoor seating areas.
This Rhode Island Inn is conveniently located just 2 miles from downtown Newport and all Newport attractions. In fact, guests of the Rheas' Inn by the Sea will have easy access to The Newport...

Booked for a birthday and it was a great place to stay. Can't beat the location. Right in the heart of Middletown and right near the beach and a short walk to the Cliffwalk. Plenty of food options.

Warm, genial owners-operators, excellent attention to details in the rooms. An excellent, large shower. A convenient on-premises breakfast and lunch restaurant let us host a breakfast for our adult children while our own breakfasts came with the room. Easy location for exploring the Newport/Middletown area.

The decor was lovely. The staff was friendly. The room was small, but nicely decorated. We had to switch rooms because we were initially put in a room on the first floor which faced the parking lot. The bathroom plumbing fixtures were not properly installed - the faucet was loose in the sink.
This was the best priced option for a trip to Newport with my daughter. Other hotels were triple the price. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. It is reasonably close to Newport mansions. We were able to park right outside our door.
