The hotel is very clean. It is well kept and up to date. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It has a good atmosphere and is quiet and relaxing. The location is convenient and the price is very good for what you get. The free breakfast is better than average for a Continental breakfast. We didn't use the indoor pool but it was nice and clean.
This was my second stay here and I would stay again.

This bed and breakfast is 2 blocks from the “Main Street “. We could just was walk to dinner every night.
They had wine and cheese on the front porch every evening and the continental breakfast with lots of tasty breads and goodies.
This inn was so close to Monticello and other presidents’ homes… making a great”home base” for history buffs.
P.s. the Mickie 1784 Tavern was an expensive tourist trap 🙁
House has been renovated into apartments and is like new inside. Near Monticello, right across from Michie Tavern, and only 15-20 minutes from UVA and downtown Charlottesville.
There is so much to like about this property. The interior furnishings are fresh, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and well- appointed. The location is excellent, minutes from Monticello and downtown Charlottesville. The host is extremely helpful and responsive.
The location of the hotel was confusing at first to find but once there it was a blessing. Very centrally located in the city with many things to see near by. Transportation to the downtown mall area was easy as well as negotiating the trip to Monticello.
I only stayed 1 night and for the price the hotel was fairly convenient to my visit to Monticello. The front desk staff was very friendly. I did not use the breakfast room so I can't comment on it. The hotel was a little hard to find as it sits on a hill and is not easily visible. Better signage is needed for the turn off to the hotel.
Checked in early without a problem. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Smart room features (rolling table, phone charging ports). Breakfast was great. Excellent location for a visit to Monticello and Shenandoah National Park, which is just a few miles away. Great access to Charlottesville. Starbucks across from the hotel.
Had a great stay overall at the hotel - flexible and smooth checkin process, room with a lovely view of a pond, ample outdoor space to eat/hang out (important for COVID risk minimization) helpful front desk staff (answered lots of my Qs, allowed for extended checkout). Location is perfect for downtown Cville and Monticello, nearby wineries.
