Luray Caverns are amazing to witness.

Luray Caverns are amazing to witness. Hard to believe it's a part of our Earth. The caverns are incredible and awe-inspiring for all ages. The paths make for a comfortable, safe tour, and the lighting in the caverns showcase the natural wonders beautifully.

Beautiful of course, but there was a lot of up and down...

Beautiful of course, but there was a lot of up and down walking. Hard on the back and legs, especially for seniors. Probably my last visit down there since I am 68 and it was a long trek especially to get down to the caverns and back (which was all outside in the heat and humidity).

Accommodations were adequate for 1 night. I looked at several hotels and thought this one would be the best. The king bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious, but rather dated and there was a faint smell of mustiness, but it was tolerable. Near restaurants and not very far from Luray Caverns, which was why we were in Luray.

House was nice set up nicely for a group of friends to share and have own space. There were 4 of us. The Hottub was decent, though, for 4 people, it will be a tight squeeze. There is a new gazebo with a bar and TV next to firepit (Bring your own wood) The cabin is in a field that has beautiful views all around. Close to luray caverns. And close to several small towns that have nice downtown areas.

I intended to stay local to Luray Caverns and close to Endless Caverns. I wanted to find a hotel that was somewhat historical, I did not realize I found something part of the historical hotels of America. I was splendidly surprised. The goal was to enjoy the time spent in the hotel, but to get out and enjoy the area. Which is what my 9 year old and I did. The morning we checked out we were both awake early enough to walk down the long drive way and catch the sun rise over the edge of the mountains. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff!

I’m not normally a motel person but this place was great. Had a retro vibe but very well maintained. Well equipped with everything you need, everything was functional, good location to go see Luray Caverns and/or Skyline Drive. It had seats + a table to sit outside the room and hang out on a nice night. Hotel manager (maybe also the owner?) was a nice guy. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The best thing was the location, just 2 mins drive from the Luray Caverns entrance. The lady at the check-in was so warm and friendly. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you’d find in most hotels.

We needed two rooms with an adjoining door, to accommodate a son with autism, and the hotel was able to provide. We stayed there primarily due to the location, just a stones throw from Luray Caverns. Our rooms were fairly large and quite nice. We will likely stay there again.

Very friendly, accommodating, and informative staff. The room was passable in terms of cleanliness. It wasn’t a recently renovated property but it was worth what we paid. Our hotel was minutes away from LuRay Caverns and the Blue Ridge Mountains, which was our reason for visiting the Shenandoah Valley!!

We only stayed two nights, but a good home for a family/families in lieu of hotel, etc. Good location to Luray Caverns. The grandkids loved the cows acrosss street and views out back. Coded entry for easy access with prompt hostess notification. Easy Peasy!

The restaurant was nice to have, food was excellent for a small hotel. The location was great because you were minutes from luray caverns and all the mountains to hike.
