Beautiful hotel , clean , the staff was excellent. My daughter dropped her wallet at the hot tub and didn’t know it. In the morning a maintenance worker turned it in to the front desk . The front desk searched our name and called us to let us know someone found her wallet. Upon claiming her wallet everything was in place money and cards. It is so refreshing to find honesty still around in the world today. The front desk wasn’t sure who the employee was as I wanted to give them a tip or reward . Thank you for a wonderful experience and a beautiful hotel.

This globally renowned observatory has been studying the cosmos for over 120 years. Lowell has seen scores of astronomical firsts, including the discovery of Pluto in 1930. Today its research telescopes have moved to a dark-sky desert campus, while the Flagstaff base focuses on educational events – from ‘Meet an Astronomer’ nights to hands-on activities for kids.
Situated halfway between Lowell Observatory and Snowbowl, it made for a perfect getaway and basecamp for my family. I loved the high quality Astronomical pictures of various deep sky objects in the rooms, and the snug sitting room in the master was a favorite reclining spot. Multiple lights, many on dimmers, gave the space the perfect ambiance for movie nights.
