Hotel was dated but very clean. It has all the basics. We were concerned about not having ac but the box fan in the window made for great sleeping temperature. Amazingly the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for Land of Oz. It was close to Fred's for breakfast. Several restaurants to choose from. Close to Banner Elk for more restaurants, entertainment or shopping.
My group and I went to college at AppState in the early 2000s so we are very familiar with navigating serpentining mountain terrain. We loved this property and wished we didn't have to rush back to work. Such a pleasant vibe and it was exquisitely located to the Land of Oz attraction and breweries.
Cabin was large and for the most part ready upon check in. Close to a lot of wonderful sites, example Land of Oz. Which is the main reason for our stay. OZ was great!! And deer graze the property daily.
my sister and I stayed at this property while visiting the Land of Oz and it was absolutely perfect!! Super cute and beautifully decorated condo. It is within walking distance of the venue and super convenient. The contact person for the condo was so helpful and attentive. She was the best at any property I’ve rented. I definitely plan to stay here again.
