This place was super clean, great staff, and it was easy to get to. Bed was comfy, roku tv, nice bathroom. It was a good value for the money. Old western themed was kinda cute. Casino and restaurant on the premises. Would stay here again.

Boulder City Dam Inn and the town are gorgeous and nice stay. Quality Inn looks nice too on bluff near Lake. Temple Bar Resort has VERY basic cabins with kitchen right on the lake beach in a great location, for young backpackers or RV families. Check it out - best on Google maps then click images.

Great historic hotel in great location and place to use as base camp for Lake Mead Half Marathon and visits to Las Vegas. Bed was very comfortable and the heater worked well, was very quiet and appreciated when it was 30 degrees outside in winter.
El Rancho is in a perfect location for LV, the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, especially the beds, and it served our needs just fine.
Good location between Lake Mead and Boulder City. The room was very clean and comfortable, although slightly outdated. Nice big TV in the room, and I always appreciate having a microwave and fridge. Reception staff were super nice. I realize the prices for hotels anywhere near Las Vegas is silly money, but you get much better value further on in Arizona and Utah, so I can't help but compare. That said, I'd happily stay here again.
Well, if I was traveling to Vegas I’d stay in Vegas. But for a restful night on a cross-country drive I was glad to discover Boulder City. No neon, no noise and no casinos. It’s near beautiful Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam.
The hotel’s restaurant was good for a decent light supper and a glass of excellent local craft beer, and there are a couple of other food options within an easy walk. Everyone I met here was exceptionally friendly - I experienced true hospitality.
Based on the photos from booking.com I wasn't expecting such a large casino hotel. Nevertheless, we had a good stay. The service and food in the restaurant were quite good. From the hotel it is an easy to walk to an abandoned rail line with some tunnels along Lake Mead. Parking was plentiful and it was easy to park close to the hotel entrance.
Decent hotel located within short driving distance from Hoover Dam & Lake Mead Recreational Area. Clean room and had all the basic amenities needed for a one night stay as we were road tripping through in our case. Parking was good just outside of the room :)
Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are basic but clean and with good lighting. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The location is perfect if you wish to visit Hoover Dam or Lake Mead or just to take a break while driving and avoid the chaos of Las Vegas proper.
The hotel was well located to the boat ramp at Lake Meade where I met my professional fishing guide. The convenience store at the hotel had everything I needed for my fishing trip.
I was pleased to see the secutity guard walking about outside since I left fishing gear and a briefcase in my car.
Hotel location was fantastic with great views of Lake Mead and surrounded Mountains from the ‘Deluxe Double Queen’ Room on the 15th Floor.
Staff were excellent and the 24hr Store was handy.
‘Deluxe Double Queen’ Room was spotless and looked like it had been recently refurbished. Large window made great use of the wonderful views.
Boulder City is a great place to stop. So much more peaceful than Las Vegas with cute motels and nice restuarants and a great park (including good dog park at Veterans Park). Interesting views of lake mead.
