Breakfast was good. Lots of options. Coffee was wonderful! I’m very fussy about floors not being washed and vacuumed only at a number of establishments. These bathroom floors were clean!

Oh my goodness ~ Tekla!
When we checked in, we were bummed, we'd expected an ocean view which doesn't exist as hotel is a block from the shore.
But Tekla, with her sweet demeanor, calmed us and opened us up the sweetness of the hotel. It's an older building but, it's clean. I found it charming once I let my guard down. The elevator worked, as did the jacuzzi tub. We had delicious complimentary coffee in the morning before our one minute walk to the beach. We were able to purchase goodies in the 24 hour snack center in the lobby.
So, adjust your expectations. Arrive with the idea of enjoying the nostalgia of a Long Beach from days gone by. Smell the sea breeze while you journal. Have an ice cold Corona at the outdoor bar/Cafe. But most importantly, say hi to Tekla - tell her I can't wait to come back and see her again.

Great location, clean and comfortable bed. There is also a real nice restaurant on the first floor. Also, right at the beginning of the bike path to Jones Beach.
Nice location. Quite a few places to eat within a short walking distance. Jones beach a 15-minute car ride away.

The rooms at Jones Beach Hotel were comfortable and included a fridge, coffee maker and table and chairs (which are not always standard for rooms of this size). The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and there was free tea and coffee in the foyer.
I was very happily surprised at the Jones Beach Hotel. From the outside, it doesn't look too impressive, but once we walked into the small lobby, with a very cute parlor and fireplace, I was completely at ease. Staff was great, everything was very, very clean, bed and pillows were comfy and the best perk of all was the lovely restaurant. The food was amazing, no need to go anywhere else for dinner. Ten minute ride to Jones Beach theater and I would absolutely return.
I always enjoy visiting there, gets you away from the standard hotels, small and more personable, easy to book and revise as needed. Looking forward to going back, easy access for Jones Beach shows in the summer.
Very good! Staff was super friendly and willing to help. We walked from the train station to the hotel (~20min walk). We stayed for one night for a concert at Jones beach theatre. It was a great stay.
The nearest hotel to Jones Beach Arena but still quite a bit away and if you don't have a car it's a bit of a trek/lottery particularly getting back after the show. Would really benefit from a bar where other concert goers could meet up (they have a restaurant but was closed) as most of the guests were going to to the same concert. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
We did not have breakfast there. The room was small but plenty big enough for 4. We had an early supper in the restaurant. It was fabulous! The desk staff was awesome! They were so helpful. Location was quiet and nice area.
My kids and friends went to a concert at the Jones Beach concert venue. They took an Uber back to the hotel and I let them in because they lock the door at 10:30 or 11 pm. Nice to stay for a concert- 4 miles to venue.
