We absolutely loved the hotel. The room was spacious and decorated beautifully. The staff were all so friendly and helpful! We stayed at the Residences and loved being able to walk to town, to the Brandt Point Bar and beaches. We also loved having access to the bikes

The property was fabulous! The location could not be better, so central to everything. The property is so beautifully designed and has such an incredible atmosphere. The bar and restaurant were outstanding as well. The absolute best part was John the manager!!! He made the trip so extra special in every way! From recommendations to all the best restaurants and attractions and insights to how the locals live. Chatting with John was a highlight of our stay! Sam the bartender was also great! Topnotch drinks and conversation.

Been coming here for years with “the girls”.
Love pre season to stay away from the hoards of summer tourists.
Hopefully will be able to keep the tradition going for a few more years.

I generally stay in the room on the third floor with the two twin beds. I think the bed by the window is definitely due for a new mattress.
I have a back problem and I hardly got any sleep. The mattress was not very comfortable.
Same issue last year.
Other than that, which is kind of a big deal every thing else was good.

My wife and I loved the location. Alicia was a great host, she gave us great food recommendations and Sophia gave us good info on where to go for the sunset. the bed was really comfortable and the fresh cookies at 4 were great.

I loved the location and the privacy. I felt like I was close to all but had privacy as well. The proximity to shopping made it very convenient to prepare food in our cottage when I did not wish to go out to eat.

Jetties Beach is beautiful and easy to access.
Jetties Beach is beautiful and easy to access. During peak season on the island it can get crowded and parking can be difficulty, but there is a cute little restaurant and bar that is right on the beach and has tables and Adirondack chairs right in the sand. Definately worth checking out. The water tends to be on the warmer side as well because it is on the canal side of the island rather than ocean side.

Jared Coffin House has the perfect location for exploring downtown Nantucket! Plenty of dining options just seconds away and walking distance to Brant point lighthouse and jetties beach. We also loved our bed (soo comfortable) and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and hospitable and so willing to meet our requests. Some of the amenities like free transport within a mile and cookies/treats in the afternoon were a nice touch!
Facility was quaint, very well kept, and very clean. Staff was friendly. Provided beach towels, beach bags, and chairs that were clean and of good quality. Continental breakfast included was good. Very pleasant sitting area outside of our room. Easy walk to Main Street and to a street with many great restaurant options. Was about 1 mile easy walk to Jetties Beach, which was a great beach with a great outdoor restaurant.
You can't beat the location. Just a few steps from the heart of town yet set back on a quiet street. Walking distance to jetties beach too so walk to town and walk to beach. Only used transportation to and from inn. The rest was on foot. A bike rental is 1 building away and we would have rented if we had stayed any longer. Staff was very friendly, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfasts were perfect! I would highly recommend.
Location is extremely convenient with downtown approx 5 min walk, jetties Beach 20 mins walk, charming New England style accommodation with home like attention to detail.
The historic charm, location, and exceptional service were what I liked most about staying here. They offer bikes to use, beach chairs and towels, and rides to and from Jetties Beach.
Jared Coffin House is centrally located near Nantucket center for shopping, with many excellent restaurants within walking distance and Jetties Beach about 10 minutes away. They offer beach chairs, towels and an umbrella to bring to the beach as well as a complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to Jetties Beach. They offer a complimentary breakfast each day. We were able to check in early and leave our bags on checkout until the time of our ferry to return home.
