This converted mansion is charming, filled with light, art, plants, and beautiful furniture and details. The staff were welcoming and friendly and really seemed to love working in this special inn. The night we arrived there was live jazz in the outdoor patio bar in the garden - magical!
Our room was comfortable and well appointed.
We would love to come back, staying here was a special experience.

For observant Jews there is a very friendly Jewish community on campus (for students, but guests are welcome) the food is decent and very affordable, and there is a lot to see in walking distance so Saturday can be well spent (botanical gardens, a lake etc).

The GreyHaven is a wonderful place in Ithaca! This is a family run operation and they have renovated all the rooms! The outdoor facilities include Adirondack chairs around several fire pits and there's wood to start a fire too provided with the room. The attention of the owners was wonderful and I cannot express how accommodating they were. We went to Ithaca beer and the owner even offered to pick us up if necessary.

The hotel was in a great location -- convenient to the shops and restaurants of downtown Ithaca, as well as to the Ithaca College and Cornell campuses. Parking was convenient about a block away, with ample space to pull up and unload. The building itself appears new and has a cool vibe. Our room was bigger than expected. Free Netflix was nice. The hotel was clean and beds/bath very comfortable. A real treat.
