It's dwarfed by the buildings around it, but at least...
It's dwarfed by the buildings around it, but at least there's space in front these days for a great picture. The visitors centre is across the road and the Liberty Bell has its own place in the building next door.

Independence Hall was an amazing historical site and well...
Independence Hall was an amazing historical site and well worth visiting. Be aware that, as with many government sites, you need passes ahead with a date and timed entry. And, even if you are late for entry, check with the staff, you may still be able to get in.
One of the great things about Old Philadelphia is that a lot of attractions are walkable from the Hall, so take advantage of it.

Wonderful! Employees are so knowledgeable. While waiting for our tour, we learned about Commodore John Barry, "The Father of the American Navy," from one of the security personnel whom we asked about a statue. Our tour guide was also very informative and very witty!

Great location: just five minutes walking from the Independence Hall and other historical sites. It has a very friendly atmosphere with a large common area with sofas and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean.
Location 1 block from independence hall and square. 5 blocks from city center and city hall. Multiple great restaurants. 6 blocks from reading terminal market.

I was in Philadelphia for July 4th. You couldn't have a better location for exploring the history in old downtown. Independence Hall is across the street. I could walk to anything I wanted to see.
Also, this location had their own restaurant on site. The Red Owl Tavern served breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner. The food was exceptionally good.
One of the best locations you could stay at when visiting Philadelphia; right across the street from the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and around the corner from the Jewish Museum. Service was lovely as was valet. My room was large and the bathroom just perfect; big and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, etc. And I loved that the hotel was dog friendly. I don't have a dog but love to see them at hotels where I'm staying!
Great location near the liberty bell and independence hall. Also had to go to Jersey a few times and was very convenient to the Ben Franklin bridge. Shower water pressure was good
Loved the location and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel had drinks meet and greet in the early evening where we met folks from different areas of the Country.
We came in a rental car and there was a parking garage just down the street next to a CVS and Starbucks. We walked from/back to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell - everything was located less than a miles away - with lots of things to look at while walking there.
