I used booking.com and was promised a room facing the ocean. Had to pay extra. When got to the hotel it was not available. The rooms were not ready. None of the guess was able to check-in until 3:45pm. I was not told about the additional parking spaces. Got to the room after a late not event, around 11:00pm. No parking. No one available to help us. Called the hotel number, no one answered. Waited one hour before someone showed up and told us where to park. Was promise happy hour prices but didn't get them. This was the perfect example of bait and switch.

Room was clean, staff was accommodating when a request was made. The location was great, and very close to Hermosa beach pier. Our room had a little balcony where we could see the ocean from - that was an added bonus. The breakfast attendant was great and made sure things were always cleaned up and ready for the next guest.
Location, practically on the beach: next to walkway/the strand , hermosa beach pier: well appointed rooms-very clean, love the ocean view patio seating in front ! I had a top floor king/sea view room and the view was breathtaking! Lots of nice touches -like robe/slippers : staff were very kind/welcoming & helpful :)
Excellent location in Hermosa Beach! One block off The Strand and one block over from pedestrian area with shops, restaurants and Hermosa Beach pier. Easy walk to Manhattan Beach or head the other direction to Redondo Beach.
Exceptional location location location. Directly on the Strand and next to all the restaurants and clubs at Hermosa Beach Pier. We had an overlooking balcony -We recommend the extra price if you want to have the full experience. The staff was exceptional also. Very attentive, informational, and helpful with every part of our stay. We rented hotel bikes for a very reasonable price and enjoyed the Strand experience very much.
