It's one of the only places to stay in Gearhart with on-site management. Excellent location in the heart of the town and close to the Ridge Path for walking. The beds were comfortable and the room was a decent size. Breakfast was continental-style and delivered to the door in a basket! There are some nice places to sit outside.

Make sure to go at low tide and see all the sea creatures (thought I was in an aquarium!). Spend hours taking pictures of sea life and rock in different light conditions. Tides are very interesting as water comes in very far on each wave. Sand is like silk!!

The hotel was very close to the public entry to Haystack Rock, which made walking easy for my family. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and to help ship forgotten items after we were out of state. We can’t say enough great things about the hotel, their staff, and the Cannon Beach area.
This is the perfect location for a Cannon Beach trip. It is literally right on the water. You can see haystack rock and walk to it easily via the beach from the hotel. The front staff was phenomenal and even upgraded our room to ocean view when they saw openings. There is an amazing local grocery store a stone’s throw across the street, with amazing food selection a coffee bar and stocks of wine from Willamette Valley. We rented DVD’s from the lobby which felt so nostalgic.
Great little hotel to explore Cannon Beach. Hassle free check in and out. Breakfast was good and served at the main hotel area a short drive away. The location was perfect. Right on the Main Street with restaurants to stroll to. And the iconic Haystack Rock is also a couple of blocks away.
The Inn at Haystack Rock is a quiet, comfortable place to stay that's just a short 3 minute walk to Cannon Beach, and about an 8 minute walk into the main part of town. The room was very clean, and the staff were helpful. It was nice to have a full kitchen and fireplace for chilly evenings when we wanted to just relax. Plus, they are pet-friendly.
Very well-appointed and located hotel in downtown Cannon Beach. Rooms are very tasteful and thoughtfully decorated with everything you need. Right on the beach with easy beach access, close to Haystack Rock. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. Pool/spa area is indoors/heated and a real treat. A truly restful, relaxing stay at the beach!
We really enjoyed our brief stay and will make this our hotel of choice moving forward. We received a free upgrade to a partial view and were looking directly at Haystack rock. The partial view room was great, with a sheltered balcony. We enjoyed the fireplace. The hotel is on the beach and very easy to access. There is a brewery/restaurant right across the street and town is within walking distance. The pillows were comfortable.
Beautiful with views of the surrounding mountains seen from the kitchen, dining and top floor bedroom!Haystack Rock seen from the back balcony! This felt like a home and not an apartment, it’s well constructed and the architecture is stunning. This hime is very clean and quiet both during the day and night. We are definitely putting this at the top of our list and staying here again soon!
Cannon Beach and access to the Haystack rocks was right there. Hotel in beach. Just the most fantastic, economical stay. Room was clean and comfy. Access to town is just minutes away and there was a coffee place and fresh food market across the street.
Our room is at an off-premise building, no-view suite. While they say no-view, at 5xx room, you can actually see the ocean, over the rooftop.
The suite was spacious and can easily dine and sleep for 4 people.

Cannon Beach is a lovely quaint town. The hotel is a nine minute drive down the coast from the town. The hotel is 1/2 block away from the beach and Haystack Rock. It is a very flat and walkable beach. The hotel is beautiful with a fireplace, double sinks in a very modern bathroom. Our bed was a king and extremely comfortable. The breakfast area has a number of tables but we took our tray filled with a lot of food and ate it on the table in our room. I highly recommend this modern, beautiful and well located Inn.
