Family loved alligator adventure, walking beach and the pier/shopping, good food at pirates table buffet, and fire luau show. I loved Davis’s landing hotel as a quiet getaway right in the middle of all the fun. We went in June water was good temp weather warm not sweltering. Beaches clean and covered in shells.

The beach is very clean and it was nice like I remembered it! I was stationed at Myrtle Beach AFB over 30 yrs ago; saw it once about 22 yrs ago and was thankful to see it again and show it to my husband! My daughter was born at Grand Strand Hospital and I met 4 close friends there I've had for over 30 yrs! One is in heaven now! But, MB has a special place in my heart for that reason and because it's where I asked Jesus to be Lord of my Life! Wisest decision I ever made and therefore, I was always love this city! If you don't like a lot of heat and humidity, remember you are at the ocean so it's high in the summer; I'd prefer off season months! We were there this month (June of 2024) and we live in FL so we get our share of heat! We're in Central FL so not as close to ocean or gulf but not a far drive! I'd recommend MB all day long! Lovely place and the people are friendly! <3 p.s. Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach are the family friend side (kind of a country setting on that side); and they are quieter at night. We liked the free parking if you get there early at Garden City Beach! MB is still my fav though; fun memories!

The beach and the surrounding are awesome. It was so relaxing and too much to see in a week. Would love to move here if it wasn’t too far away from my family. Although it would take some time to figure out the addresses. The food was delicious at the TBonz steakhouse. We are not sea food people, but they definitely have a lot of restaurants if it’s for you. The Carolina Opry was awesome. They were amazing!!!

The hotel and services were excellent! 5 star and music from Ocean Annie's everyday from 12-2....excellent. Drinks were weak. Ocean Annie's definitely needs to get with making stronger drinks. Not just a slash of alcohol & then charge you high $$. Not exceptable. The room we had was a junior swept..great place! Love that we had 2 vanities his and hers! A washer & dryer! I wish that there had been workable pans! There was only 1 pan & I couldn't fry anything in it. Cheap! Other then that excellent place to stay! The bell hops were great! I got a massage downstairs & it was better then massage envy back home! Best massage EVER! The jacuzzi was relaxing and indoor pool. The restaurant was great! Burgers are great! The hotel offers free lunch everyday burger or hotdogs with chips and soda. Also, sands ocean club gives free vouchers for the Waterpark and Grand Prix raceway 1 adult ticket and 1 free after purchase of 1. Parking was great! Free as well. Go cart rentals were a block away! An all around great location for a wonderful vacation! See you next time!

Certain areas of Myrtle Beach are better than others. The area I was in was not one of them. I left a day early due to the poor room I had and the unfriendliness of the staff and other guests at hotel.

Lots of food choices.
Almost everything that you need or want to do is within 10 blocks of 1st St, which is a short walk or you can rent a golf cart to drive around town.
I've been to beaches around the world and Myrtle will always be my favorite.
Excellent communication from the hotel. Checking was simple and efficient. This is an older hotel in Myrtle Beach but nicely renovated and clean. Location is perfect for coffee, the beach, the boardwalk and nearby restaurants. The pool was crystal clear and maintained well.
Rooms were perfect..the ocean view was amazing..sitting on the balcony each night was so nice..the staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. The pools were great too..the service of the valet staff were top notch!! I would def recommend this hotel !
It was my daughter spring break.. I wanted oceanfront view and I received just that! The swimming pool and lazy pool witching the hotel was a bonus! My daughter and niece loved it! The staff was nice and pleasant!!
