During our trip the weather was brutal with colder temperatures and snow. The gas fire place was extremely cozy and gave us a place to warm up. The cabin is quiet and comfortable. The washer and dryer were very handy.

The breakfast was legendary. The staff responsive.
Location was perfect for strolling a few yards for dinner at Local and breakfast at Elaine’s Coffee shop. It was also next to the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad station, so it we was perfect for watching the steam train depart. It would be a wonderful place to stay if one was planning to take the train. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the shower was awesome.
