The Wallace Hotel, hotel in New York

Located in New York and with Strawberry Fields reachable within a 12-minute walk, The Wallace Hotel has concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a bar.

Very friendly staff (from doorman, front desk, host of the attached lounge, to the janitor, everyone kind and very service oriented - thank you), lovely room, fantastic seated outdoor balcony (2 seats) as part of the room with great views across the Hudson and Upper East Side. Very hip piano lounge bar on ground floor with mixed crowd (young and older). Some great restaurants in the vicinity and of course easy access to the various theaters in the vicinity. There is no room service menu, however, you *can* order food and drinks from the lounge bar and the front desk will then have it sent up - billing was part of my room.

The Sherry Netherland, hotel in New York

We enjoyed the location, comfortable bed. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The property looks a bit tired for the exorbitant price to stay.

Lowell Hotel, hotel in New York

The Lowell is a 17-story building established in 1927 and is located 1056 feet from Central Park. The property is 164 feet from Madison Avenue. Fifth Avenue is 528 feet form the property.

The staff was incredible! I’ve never been so taken care of. I was truly sad to leave. The hotel was awesome, but what truly made it was the people who worked there. Every single one of them including the bar tender and hosts at the bar next door and are all time fave, Jesus!!! They all took such pride in the hotel and their jobs there. I told them they were stuck with me for life, because I’m never staying anywhere else.🤣 I felt like I had these awesome big brothers by the time I left. I can’t say enough about what an impression they made on us. Jesus we miss you and we will be back soon!!!

This hotel is 492 feet from the 79th street metro station and 1066 feet from the Museum of Natural History. It features on-site spa services and free WiFi.

My rate included bountiful free breakfasts at Nice Matin restaurant next door. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was spacious and well designed. Great location on the West Side near a lot of attractions, such as the Museum of Natural History. Oh, and Zabar's!

It is what it is. If you need to stay in NYC on a budget, this is a good option. The cube was comfortable and the mattress was just fine. The toilets and showers were ok and the breakfast was inexpensive. Kama is a 1/2-block away from Central Park and an easy walk to Columbia University.

Room in classical NYC apartment, shared kitchen and bathroom with three other rooms. When I arrived tired after long flight and ride from the airport, there were free snacks awaiting in the kitchen (and we available throughout the whole stay, e.g. including yogurt for breakfast and of course coffee and tea etc.)! Otherwise everything was clean and nicely decorated. Location at upper Manhattan is very convenient - two subway lines within 10 minutes walking distance plus it is close to Columbia University medical center.
